TRNC provides educational opportunities of high quality offering public and private schools and colleges. Education in public schools is free. Primary, secondary and high school education is compulsory. In other words, a child receives education from the age of 5 to 17.

The main language of education in public schools in Northern Cyprus is Turkish. As a foreign language education, English, German and French options are available.

When we look at private schools, there are foreign schools that provide education with the British Education System. Students study with the same educational curriculum as in the UK.
