Pursuant to the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the foreigners' ability to obtain a residence permit over their property they have purchased from Northern Cyprus depends on the application for a title deed to the Council of Ministers. People who invest in real estate in the country can have a permanent residence permit under certain conditions. Foreigners who have invested in real estate worth 125 Euros can apply for a residence permit if they do not commit a crime and have a certain income level. After the 6-year waiting period, people can have this right. The waiting period for people over 60 is determined as 3 years.

Required documents:

- Sale Contract

- Passport and one copy

- Residence document to be obtained from the headman of the TRNC

- Passport photograph taken within the last 6 months

- Bank account (must be around $20,000 pursuant to current legislation)

- Document showing that the application has been made to the Council of Ministers

- Passport page showing the entry and exit date to the TRNC or the white paper received at the entrance

- Photocopies of documents and passports showing family relationship for children under 18 years of age

- Marriage certificate for spouses

 

All the transactions must be carried out correctly while preparing all documents with their originals and photocopies.
